
28 July 2008 – On 26 July, the fashion and trend magazine PETRA presented the PETRA Fashion Awards for the fourth time in the turbine hall in Düsseldorf. This year too, Zwiesel Kristallglas designed the much sought-after fashion awards from satin finish glass. Accessories from the ZWIESEL 1872 brand provided an elegant atmosphere.

Hand-blown, opalescent vases from the SEED range and small wind lanterns from the LIVING LIGHTS range of the ZWIESEL 1872. LIVING COLLECTION. emphasised the unique atmosphere of the exclusive award ceremony. The lifestyle brand ZWIESEL 1872. also had its own presentation in the Beauty Lounge, where experts offered guests consultations and beauty treatments.
A total of seven awards were presented on the evening. In the category of German Fashion, the popular trophies went to the fashion labels Closed (“casual ladies’ fashion), St. Emile (“high fashion for women”), Strenesse (“premium ladies’ fashion) and La Perla (bodywear). Louis Vuitton won the category of “Top international fashion brand”. The PETRA readers voted Boss Black the “most beautiful advertising motif” and the PETRA editors presented the “Newcomer of the Year” award to Silke Wilhelm.
The guests sipped wine and sparkling white wine from glasses of the VIÑA range by SCHOTT ZWIESEL.
