Zwiesel Kristallglas AG is also presenting the relaunch of its traditional brand JENAER GLAS to coincide with Ambiente 2007. For over 130 years, Zwiesel Kristallglas AG has been delivering superior craftsmanship combined with the latest glassmaking technologies from its site in Zwiesel. With over 500 employees in Zwiesel alone, the company is one of the Bavarian Forest region's biggest employers. Directors Dr. Robert Hartel and Dr. Andreas Buske, who took over Zwiesel Kristallglas AG in 2001 through a management buy-out, maintain the culture of a modern, medium-sized company and are strongly committed to Germany as a business location. At the same time, they are quick to deploy a consistent brand policy and rely on strong partnerships with trade stockists and bars, hotels and restaurants. These partnerships set the company on its road to success just one year after the MBO.
