Zwiesel Kristallglas AG gains the award „Glasstraßenpreis“ for the year 2006On 16 September 2006, Zwiesel Kristallglas AG was distinguished with the “Glasstraßenpreis 2006”. Thus the committee, consisting of seven members, honoured the company’s commitment which also underlined impressively its confession to its location in the Bavarian Forrest by the launch of their premium brand Zwiesel 1872.

For this clear confession to the location Zwiesel, the company with its’ historical tradition was awarded with the “Glasstraßenpreis 2006”. Especially decisive for this decision was the personal commitment of both managing directors and partners Dr. Robert Hartel and Dr. Andreas Buske who decided to separate from the mother company in the year 2001 and thus secured on a long-term basis approximately 500 jobs in the Bavarian Forrest.
